Culture

Culture

Although the daily practice of our company culture comes naturally to us, we’ve worked very hard to implement and maintain a unique culture that is seldom found in the accounting industry.

Put simply, our culture is based on people, and it is exhibited through the respect, encouragement, and courtesy that we share. We want to help people be the best they can be and achieve all they desire. Therefore we combine emotional investment with intellectual capital, along with the opportunities our firm has to offer, to ensure our employees achieve success both on a personal and a professional level.

Impact

Whitley Penn is passionate about giving back to the community. Whether it’s through community service projects, monetary donations or serving in a leadership capacity, the professionals at Whitley Penn consider it their responsibility to support the community.

Whitley Penn is a proud supporter of the community. As part of our firm philosophy, we strive to volunteer and inspire others to spotlight organizations in our local communities.

Work Life

At Whitley Penn we learn, innovate and succeed by sharing knowledge, embracing diversity and working together. We promote a healthy, non-stressful work environment. Too much work is counterproductive and we encourage our professionals to achieve a work/life balance that is conducive to personal and professional goals. We frequently engage in company activities and support community involvement. Time away from work to be with family is never discouraged.

Balancing work and life is a challenge in any career, but our culture helps us make sure we keep our priorities straight.

Who We Are and What We Stand For

We are individuals who demonstrate respect for themselves and others, who have a positive attitude, integrity and teaming skills. Individuals with enthusiasm, initiative, energy and the courage to lead. People who build relationships based on doing the right thing and offer quality every day.

FitWhit was pleased to announce that our Fort Worth office completed Blue Zones Project Approval in the third quarter during the 2017 year. The Blue Zones Project creates communities where citizens, schools, employers, restaurants, grocery stores, and community leaders work together to improve the longevity and well-being of their residents. Approved members of Blue Zones Communities are able to identify and create policies and programs that transform and support the lives of those living in their city. This achievement is helping transform the well-being in both the lives of our employees as well as in the community.
